Berlin, 29th May 2019 – Solarworx wins the energy startup business plan competition organised by Investitionsbank Berlin (IBB), Investitionsbank des Landes Brandenburg (ILB) and Unternehmensverbände Berlin-Brandenburg (UVB). Among the three finalists Solarworx was able to convince the jury consisting of investors and experts in finance and energy including Dr. Karina Rigby, Siemens Vice President and Head of Siemensstadt 2.0 Project. The special award for energy startups was brought to live by BPW to emphasize the importance of innovation by startups in the global energy transition.
For around four weeks Solarworx will now participate in a Business Bootcamp, where a variety of experts will help boost the business. The ceremony was held in the Siemens entrepreneur campus A32, which is part of the Siemensstadt 2.0 company strategy where Solarworx is based.
